お詫(わ)びapology

友人(ゆうじん)は、お詫(わ)びをした。

My friend apologized.

お詫(わ)びをすることは、簡単(かんたん)なことではない。

Apologizing is not an easy thing to do.

店長(てんちょう)：「クレームが入(はい)ったから、お客様(きゃくさま)にお詫(わ)び状(じょう)を書(か)かなければいけないね。」私(わたし)：「分(わ)かりました。書(か)き方(かた)を教(おし)えてください。」

Manager: "We received a complaint, so we need to write an apology letter to the customer." Me: "Understood. Please teach me how to write it."

僕(ぼく)の弟(おとうと)は、癖(くせ)の強(つよ)い上司(じょうし)のせいで、いつもお詫(わ)びをしっぱなしだ。

My brother is always apologizing because of his difficult boss.

父：「相手に怪我をさせた点から考えると、私からもお詫(わ)びに伺ったほうが良さそうだ。」母：「私も一緒に行きます。」

Father: "Considering the fact that you injured the other person, it seems I should also go to apologize." Mother: "I'll go with you."
