幽霊(ゆうれい)：「私(わたし)を呼(よ)び出(だ)したのか？この戯(たわ)けめ。」

Ghost: 'So it was you who summoned me? You fool.'

詐欺師(さぎし)：「ふっ、戯(たわ)け。お前(まえ)、俺(おれ)の事(こと)を信(しん)じたのか？」

Con man: 'Hah, what a fool. You actually believed me?'

先生(せんせい)：「お前(まえ)、戯(たわ)けが過(す)ぎるぞ！もっと真面目(まじめ)になりなさい！」

Teacher: 'You! Your foolishness has gone too far! Be more serious!'

先生(せんせい)は私(わたし)の行動(こうどう)が間抜(まぬ)けだぞと言(い)わんばかりに「戯(たわ)け！」と言(い)いました。

The teacher said 'Fool!', as if to say my actions were idiotic.

「悪口(わるぐち)はやめなさい」と言(い)ったそばから生徒(せいと)が「戯(たわ)け」と言(い)ったので呆(あき)れました。

Right after I said, 'Quit badmouthing' to the student, they said with 'fool', which left me dumbfounded.
