ヒントをもらったのでクイズの答(こた)えが分(わ)かりました。

I figured out the answer to the quiz after getting a hint.

回答(かいとう)する者(もの)が現(あらわ)れないから、そろそろヒントを出(で)そう…。

Since no one is answering, I guess it’s time to give a hint...

回答(かいとう)者(しゃ)：「この問題(もんだい)は難(むずか)しすぎる！大(おお)きなヒントを下(くだ)さい！」

同僚(どうりょう)の研究(けんきゅう)からヒントを得(え)て、これからする研究(けんきゅう)の内容(ないよう)と目的(もくてき)を定(さだ)めた。

I got a hint from my colleague’s research and used it to define the content and purpose of my own study.

お願(ねが)いをしたら、出題(しゅつだい)者(しゃ)はこのクイズのヒントを出(だ)してくれないものだろうか…。

Maybe if I ask nicely, the quizmaster will give me a hint...
