人間(にんげん)は人権(じんけん)がある。

Humans have rights.

先週(せんしゅう)は、人権(じんけん)週間(しゅうかん)だった。

Last week was Human Rights Week.

兄：「昨日の倫理の授業では、何を勉強したの？」弟：「学校で、人権(じんけん)について勉強したところだよ。」

Older brother: "What did you study in yesterday's ethics class?" Younger brother: "We just studied about human rights at school."

私(わたし)：「悲(かな)しいニュースを見(み)る度(たび)に、ますます人権(じんけん)について考(かんが)えるよ。」母(はは)：「そうだね。世界中(せかいじゅう)のみんなで平和(へいわ)な世界(せかい)を作(つく)っていきたいね。」

Me: "Every time I see sad news, I think more and more about human rights." Mother: "That's right. We want to create a peaceful world with everyone around the world."

人権(じんけん)のない世界(せかい)なんて、考(かんが)えられない。

A world without human rights is unimaginable.
