おばあちゃんから桃(もも)を５(ご)個(こ)も貰(もら)いました。

桃(もも)とかみかんとかの中身(なかみ)はほとんど水分(すいぶん)であると聞(き)きました。

I heard that the contents of peaches and oranges is mostly water.

桃(もも)の果実(かじつ)の約(やく)９０(きゅうじゅっ)％(パーセント)は水分(すいぶん)であり、あとは糖(とう)質(しつ)が占(し)めているらしい。

It is said that about 90% of the peach fruit is water, with carbohydrates making up the rest.

残念(ざんねん)ながら今年(ことし)は桃(もも)が不作(ふさく)だったらしく、少(すこ)しも食(た)べることが出来(でき)ませんでした。
