主節(しゅせつ)principal clause

主節（しゅせつ）は従属節(じゅうぞくせつ)を従(したが)えています。

The principal clause is accompanied by a subordinate clause.

それだけで独立(どくりつ)した文(ぶん)になれるのが主(おも)節(ふし)だ。
