地帯(ちたい)area, zone, belt (of land)

この地帯(ちたい)には工場(こうじょう)が沢山(たくさん)あります。

この辺(あた)りは山岳(さんがく)地帯(ちたい)なので生活(せいかつ)に不向(ふむ)きである。
