Tentang ~ばと思います
~ばと思います is respectful phrase used when the speaker wants to make a very polite request, or express a hope or intention to social superiors, such as an audience or business clients. It is similar to saying 'I would appreciate it if' or 'I would like to think that'. Grammatically, it is the conditional form (ending in ば), followed by the quotation particle と, and the verb 思う 'to think' in its polite form.
This pattern is most often seen with the humble verb for receiving in its potential form, いただける, however other verbs may also be used.
Sometimes たら may be seen instead of ~ば, however this can sound slightly less formal.
Besides 思う, the humble verb 存じる, also meaning 'to think', may be used.
Fun Fact
This pattern actually omits part of the sentence in order to sound less direct . If it were a complete statement then a word like 良い, 幸い, or ありがたい would come after ~ば.

Maybe I learned the ~ば ending grammar incorrectly, but even looking back on that card いただく seems like it should be conjugated いただけば.
But on a review of this card, I’m told that’s wrong. The review was:
後からゆっくり来ていただければと思います。(いただく)
And いただけばと思います wasn’t the correct answer. When I checked the answer, the いただく part was what was wrong.
Then, feeling like I was going crazy, I checked the ~ば card.
It says:[く]Verb → 歩
く+ けばI don’t know which to believe now.
