明日(あした)から帰省(きせい)します。

I'm going back to my hometown starting tomorrow.

帰省(きせい)するのでお土産(みやげ)を買(か)いました。

I bought souvenirs because I'm going back to my hometown.

帰省(きせい)して、母(はは)のカレーを食(た)べた。

I went home and ate my mother's curry.

息子：「今年の年末は久しぶりに帰省(きせい)しようと思ってる。」母：「楽しみに待ってるよ。」

Son: "I'm thinking of going back home for the first time in a while this year-end." Mother: "I'm looking forward to it."

えれん：「お盆(ぼん)休(やす)みは何(なに)してる？」あつし：「三重(みえ)の実家(じっか)に帰省(きせい)する予定(よてい)だよ！」

Eren: "What are you doing for the Obon holiday?" Atsushi: "I'm planning to go back to my family home in Mie!"
