陸地(りくち)land

陸地(りくち)は水(みず)に覆(おお)われていない地球(ちきゅう)の表面(ひょうめん)です。

Land is the part of the Earth's surface that is not covered by water.

地球表面積(ちきゅうひょうめんせき)の３０(さんじゅっ)パーセントほどを陸地(りくち)が占(し)めます。

About 30 percent of the Earth's surface is covered by land.
