Acerca de がん～
ガン見 is a noun that acts as a する-Verb in order to convey that someone is looking at something with fixation. Originally, it is a colloquial abbreviation of ガンガン見る, with ガンガン being an onomatopoeic expression that can be interpreted as 'furiously', or 'vigorously' in certain contexts.
ガン can be attached to the stem form of certain verbs to create new する-Verbs, or attached to certain pre-existing する-Verbs.
As you are exposed to Japanese more and more, seeing certain onomatopoeia structures shortened like this will be quite common, and many of them are only used in some specific phrases.
