Both mean in the way of, but differ in usage. ふうに often attaches to demonstratives like こんなふうに (in this way). という風に follows whole phrases, as in すべて分かっているというふうに (as if they knew everything), and can sound slightly more indirect.

Both express resemblance, but with different nuance. かのようだ is used at sentence-end to compare to a hypothetical or exaggerated situation, as in 夢かのようだ (It’s like a dream). ふうに is more neutral and connective, describing manner or appearance, as in こんなふうに書く (Write it like this).

のように・のような and ふうに both express similarity, but with different usage and nuance. のように・のような follows nouns, e.g. 春のような天気 'spring-like weather', and expresses a general comparison. ふうに, on the other hand, typically follows verbs or words like こんな and そんな, implying 'in a way' or 'giving the feel of,' e.g. こんなふうに話す 'to speak in this way'.
