Acerca de する (Have/Wear)
Although する is most often translated as 'to do', it has some other uses in Japanese which may not be immediately intuitive. One such use is to say that someone is 'wearing' something, or that someone 'has' a certain type of physical feature or expression.
Grammatically, the clothing or physical feature will be marked by を, as in a regular active sentence. する will normally be used in combination with ている, when used in this sense.
The sort of physical features that are used with する are generally limited. The most common is a type of face or expression, but it may also be seen with eyes, build (of a body), or voices.
Equally, when used with 'worn' items, the usage is limited, normally with accessories or items which are added or 'fastened', not with items which cover whole areas. Other verbs are normally more natural for clothing.
Caution
In other languages, it can be common to say that someone 'has' a physical feature, leading to learners mistakenly using がある. In Japanese, がある sounds like a detached possession or existence. To describe physical features, をしている is the more natural choice in most cases.
