「のではないだろうか」の情報

「のではないだろうか」は、自分(じぶん)の意見(いけん)を婉曲的(えんきょくてき)に、修辞(しゅうじ)疑問(ぎもん)の形(かたち)で伝(つた)えるときに使(つか)われる、少(すこ)し長(なが)めの文型(ぶんけい)です。これは「恐(おそ)らく (A) でしょう」や「(A) だと思(おも)いますが、そうですよね？」というような意味(いみ)で使(つか)われます。この文型(ぶんけい)は「の」と「ではない」、「だろう」、「か」で構成(こうせい)されています。この長(なが)い表現(ひょうげん)によって断定(だんてい)を避(さ)け、相手(あいて)により控えめで丁寧(ていねい)な印象(いんしょう)を与(あた)えることができます。

「のではないだろうか」は、動詞(どうし)、イ形容詞(けいようし)、または「な」を伴(ともな)うナ形容詞(けいようし)または名詞(めいし)の後(あと)に付(つ)いて使(つか)われます。また「だろう」の代(か)わりに「でしょう」を使(つか)うこともあります。

この表現(ひょうげん)は、聞(き)き手(て)から同意(どうい)を得(え)たいときや、自分(じぶん)の考(かんが)えが正(ただ)しいとやんわりと相手(あいて)を説得(せっとく)したいときににも使(つか)われます。

    indicate nouns can be inflected with なの・なん, but this doesn’t appear to be reflected in the examples, nor accepted in any of the answers I’ve encountered so far. I already reported this previously, but thought I should post here as well to bring attention to this discrepancy.
