Acerca de

Yea that’s what I surmised but on the page it doesn’t necessary mention Noun/adjective use so this is why I wondered.

I see that this grammar point now includes nouns and な-adjectives, but I find the description for the negative form quite misleading. It currently states:
[な]Adjective + でなくて + で + よかった
Noun + でなくて + よかったThis seems to imply that, for a な-adjective, the form would be:
静かでなくてでよかった
However, as far as I understand, the correct forms should be:
静かじゃなくてよかった
静かではなくてよかったSimilarly, for nouns, the description suggests something like:
先生でなくてよかった
But in practice, the natural and correct forms are:
先生じゃなくてよかった
先生ではなくてよかったI think that this description, together with the fact that there are no example sentences using negative nouns or な-adjectives, can easily lead to confusion and should be revised.

Hi @Jibun, thank you for pointing it out and sorry for the very late reply This looks like a formatting error, and we just fixed it. The updated structure is:[な]Adjective + でなくて + よかった.
We hope you have a wonderful day!
