一般
「に対して」の情報
「に対する」や「に対して」は、(A) と (B) が反対の立場にあるときに使われる文法です。「対する」は動詞で、「向かい合う」などの意味があります。「反対」や「向かい合う」という言葉には、少し良くないイメージがあるかもしれませんが、この文法そのものに否定的なニュアンスはありません。ただ「対象」を示すときに使われます。
「に対する」のあとには、そのまま名詞が続きます。「に対して」は文を一度区切ります。そして、そのあとで説明 (B) が続きます。
豆知識
「に関して」は (A) と (B) につながりがあることを示すのに使われますが、「に対して」は、(A) と (B) の両方に注目し、この二つがどのように関係し合って、どのように異なっているかを説明する表現です。
注意点
「に対して」は、(A) と (B) の違いをはっきりさせたいときによく使われる文法で、二つの物事を比べるような文で使われます。

Hi!
I also agree with that some years after. Since it is still not split.
Also it would be great to write a little note about the difference between に比べて and のに対して, since it’s 2 different grammar points for comparaison.

I think I haven’t quite understood this grammar point (and related ones as a consequence…). Can someone explain why the answer here is に対して and not に対する? Thank you in advance! 🙇♂️

From what I could understand from this grammar point when we use に対する, it means ‘toward’ something or someone.
And に対して means regarding something or someone, therefore, it only wants to know about a something section of a subject.
That is why is に対して and not に対する. On the exercise phrase talks only about the questions that ‘mention that part’. So regarding these specific questions that had more about this subject. I wonder if it was too difficult.
