At Bunpro, our mission is to simplify language study by giving learners the tools they need to overcome the challenges they face and then providing a learning environment and process that encourages them to use the language and learn from their mistakes.

We are a multidisciplinary, fully remote team that is passionate about language learning and creating simple yet powerful education tools that make learning less overwhelming. We are inspired to rethink how languages can be taught and how we can help students overcome the challenges they face in their linguistic journey.

Your Role

We are seeking a versatile and passionate designer with a strong focus on UI, visual identity, and branding. In this role, you will help shape the visual language of Bunpro. You will work on web and app UI, branding assets, marketing visuals, and design systems that create a cohesive, fun and engaging experience for our users.

During your first year at Bunpro, you will take a major role in refining our overall brand identity and establishing a unified visual direction for our platforms and community. If you love crafting beautiful user interfaces, building recognizable brands, and designing for clarity and purpose, we'd love to hear from you!

About You

  • Experience: 3-5+ years of experience working in design, in particular UI/UX, Graphic Design, or Branding.
  • Skills: Basic Copy Writing, Advanced Figma, Creative Suite of your choice. (We use Affinity).
  • Design Mindset: Strong design fundamentals: color, typography, grids, layout, spacing, hierarchy and visual consistency.
  • Creativity & Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically from a user and brand perspective.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable communicating design ideas and iterating based on feedback.
  • Brand Awareness: Experience building, refining, or expanding a brand identity/style guide (preferably in a start-up or growth focused environment).

    Once your application has passed an internal review, you’ll be invited to your first interview where we will get to know a little more about you and your background.

    You may be requested to complete a test project that highlights your technical abilities and communication skills (if applicable).

  • 4Follow Up Interview

    Once we’ve evaluated your test project, you may be invited to an additional interview to go over the position and role within Bunpro in greater detail.

  • 5Decision

    You’ll always hear back from us – we manually review and respond to every candidate’s application. If we think you will be a great fit, you’ll receive an official offer to join our team.
