Acerca de から見ると

から見(み)ると is a common sentence pattern seen when something is being viewed either from the perspective of (A), or a judgment is being made based on looking at the situation of (A) objectively. This may be translated either as 'from the point of view of (A), (B)', or 'from looking at (A), one could say (B)'.

This grammar construction is comprised of the conjunction particle から 'from', the る-Verb 見(み)る 'to look', and any of the usual hypothetical statement markers such as と, たら, ば, or even the て-form. It will appear following nouns.

Caution

から見(み)ると tends not to be used with things that cannot actually physically be seen or assessed, such as smells, sounds, etc.

    From an outside point of view it looks easy.

    老人(ろうじん)夫婦(ふうふ)から見(み)ると、若者(わかもの)の恋愛(れんあい)は懐(なつ)かしい。

    From the point of view of elderly couples, young love is nostalgic.

    普段(ふだん)から見(み)て、今年(ことし)は稀(まれ)な気象(きしょう)が多(おお)かった。

    From the view point of what is normal, there were a lot of rare weather phenomena this year.

    脇役(わきやく)から見(み)ると主役(しゅやく)は羨(うらや)ましいが、主役(しゅやく)は主役(しゅやく)で大変(たいへん)らしい。

    From the point of view of a supporting role, the lead part is enviable, however the lead role looks very tough.

    小学生(しょうがくせい)から見(み)ると中高生(ちゅうこうせい)は大人(おとな)に見(み)えるが、実際(じっさい)はそうでもない。

    From the point of view of an elementary schooler, junior and senior high schoolers look like adults, but that is not really the case.
