らしい ②typical of, -ish・like, appropriate for, becoming of, befitting

Both なりに and らしい② can connect to the idea of 'being appropriate to someone' but in different ways. なりに means “in one’s own way/to the extent of one’s ability or circumstances,” and it evaluates an action or result as the best (or at least reasonable) within those limits, as in 自分なりに考えた (‘I thought as best I could.'), and can be used in a self-deprecating sense. らしい② means 'typical' or 'true to (someone or something)', focusing on whether a behavior or style fits a person’s usual character, not on limits or 'doing one’s best', as in 彼らしくやった ('He did it how you'd expect from him.')

風 and らしい② both express resemblance but differ in nuance. 風 means something has the 'air' or appearance of a type, e.g. 日本風建築 'Japanese-style architecture'. らしい② implies it embodies the ideal of that category, e.g. 日本らしい建築 implies 'quintessential Japanese architecture'.

Both relate actions to what is natural or fitting, but with different nuance. らしく means 'in a way typical of' or 'true to,' judging whether behavior matches a person’s character or role, as in 彼は彼らしく行動した ('He acted in a way true to himself.'). べくして does not evaluate character but inevitability, stating that an outcome was the natural result of circumstances or causes, as in 事故は起こるべくして起こった ('The accident happened as was inevitable.').

Both describe attributes, but with different focuses. 型 emphasizes form or category, e.g. 家族型の会社 ('A family-style company') らしい expresses what seems typical or characteristic of something, often based on impression, e.g. 家族らしい雰囲気 ('A family-like atmosphere', warm and loving, as one might expect from a family)

Both describe something becoming like something else, but the nuance is different. めく・めいた means ‘showing signs of’ and refers to a noticeable change in atmosphere or appearance, without judging whether it is typical, as in 秋めいてきた ('It has started to feel autumn-like.'). らしい②, especially in らしくなってきた, focuses on becoming more typical or expected for that thing, emphasizing how well it matches the usual image, as in 秋らしくなってきた ('It has started to feel properly autumn-like.').

みたいに・みたいな and らしい② both express likeness but differ in nuance. みたい suggests resemblance despite being different, e.g. 春みたいな天気 ('spring-like weather' in another season). らしい describes something that fits the typical image of what it actually is, e.g. 春らしい天気 ('weather that's just like you'd expect in spring', when it is actually spring.).

らしい has two related but distinct functions. らしい ① conveys information heard from a third-party source with a nuance that the speaker believes it to be true, e.g. 雨が降るらしい ('Apparently, it's going to rain.'). らしい ② serves as an adjective, describing a typical characteristic, e.g. 春らしい天気 'spring-like weather'.

っぽい and らしい② both express resemblance. っぽい is casual, like '-ish' in English, e.g. 子どもっぽい 'childish' (usually with a negative nuance). らしい② implies that someone or something embodies expected traits, e.g. 男らしい 'manly' with a nuance of fulfilling cultural expectations of what a man should be.

Both relate to appearance, but with quite different nuances. ～(の)姿 refers to someone's outward form, posture, or visual state, e.g. 彼女の頑張っている姿 ('The sight/figure of her working hard'). In contrast, ～らしい② is used to describe traits or appearances typical of a category or role, e.g. 男らしい ('Manly'). While 姿 describes the appearance or form itself, ～らしい② is about how that form embodies social or cultural norms.

的 and らしい both describe being 'like' something, but differ in usage and nuance. 的 is highly versatile, converting nouns into な-Adjectives, e.g. 感情的な 'emotional' or 定期的に 'regularly'. In contrast, らしい expresses embodying the ideal or typical qualities of something, e.g. 春らしい天気 'spring-like weather'.
