父(ちち)が息子(むすこ)に：「ほな、遊園(ゆうえん)地(ち)に行(い)こか！」

Father to Son: 'Well then, shall we head to the amusement park?'

友達(ともだち)と別(わか)れる、正志(まさし)：「今日(きょう)は楽(たの)しかったで！ほな、また明日(あした)！」

Parting with a friend, Masashi says: 'Today was a blast! Well then, see you tomorrow!'

武(たけし)：「そこには下町(したまち)ならではの喫茶店(きっさてん)があるんだ。」香奈(かな)：「ほな、そこの駅(えき)で待(ま)ち合(あ)わせしよか。」

Takeshi: 'There's a coffee shop there that's unique to downtown.'
Kana: 'Then, let's meet at that station.'

夫(おっと)：「僕(ぼく)はコーヒーを飲(の)もうかな。」妻(つま)：「ほな、うちもコーヒーにするわ。」

Husband: 'I think I'll have a coffee.'
Wife: 'Then, I'll have coffee too.'

香織(かおり)：「このキムチ、めちゃ美味(うま)いで！激辛(げきから)やけど。」早紀(さき)：「ほな、やめとくわ。うち、辛(から)いの嫌(きら)いやねん。」

Kaori: 'This kimchi is super tasty, but really spicy.'
Saki: 'If so, I'll pass. I don't like spicy food.'
