早起(はやお)きearly rising

今朝(けさ)は早起(はやお)きした。

I got up early this morning.

早起(はやお)きすると気分(きぶん)がいい。

Waking up early makes me feel good.

早起(はやお)きは苦手(にがて)です。

I'm not good at waking up early.

母：「明日は全員早起(はやお)きよ！」家族全員：「なんで！？」母：「朝からおばあちゃんが遊びに来るのよ。」

Mother: "Everyone has to get up early tomorrow!" The whole family: "Why!?" Mother: "Grandma is coming to visit in the morning."

姉：「明後日はお花見日和だから、早起(はやお)きして、場所取りに行こう！」妹：「えー。一人で行ってきてよ。」

Older sister: "The day after tomorrow is perfect for cherry blossom viewing, so let's get up early and go save a spot!" Younger sister: "Ugh. Go by yourself."
