  • AといわずBといわず (where A and B belong to the same group) is a literary written expression meaning that something applies not only to A or B but to all elements in the group.
    Often followed by expressions like 全て、誰でも and so on. Most commonly used as 夜といわず昼といわず、壁といわず天井といわず and 手をいわず足をいわず (nouns order can differ).
    Fairly rare expression, not used in speech.
