Information
Verb[て]みせる is used to express speaker's strong resolution/will to reach some goal/prove something. Often used with: きっと、必ず、絶対, verb[ても] and こそ for additional emphasis.
It is also used more literally when showing/demonstrating something: ゾルバさんが踊ってみせてくれた。 Zorba showed me the dance. (Zorba demonstrated the dance for me.)
