Often, when the 格助詞(かくじょし) (case marking particle) と is used alongside the 接続助詞(せつぞくじょし) (conjunction particle) て containing form of the う - Verb 並(なら)ぶ ‘to line up’, the meaning of ‘to be comparable with (A)’, or ‘to be in line with (A)’ will be conveyed.
と並(なら)んで will be preceded by nouns, or noun phrases.
